Living
in Chicago can be a
thrilling experience
if you happen to get
excited over live
concerts. While much
of the rest of the
country live in towns
where concerts can
only be seen in a few
venues sparingly
throughout the year,
Windy City natives
enjoy a wealth of
settings and an
equally large number
of major touring acts
to choose from. Chicago
Concerts are a
common nightly event.
Multiple major act
concerts on one night
are not unusual; in fact
it’s quite the
norm.
Primary
reasons for the
abundance of Chicago
Concerts are the
sheer number of people
who live here and the
fact that there are so
many venues for a
concert to be held in.
When the mega recording
artists come to town,
even Soldier Field and
Wrigley make room for
the masses. Other
slightly smaller venues
include the United
Center and the Allstate
Arena. Mid to smaller
venues include the
Chicago Theater, the
Rosemont Theater and the
House of Blues. With the
addition of several
outdoor concert venues
for concerts during
warmer times of the
year, there's no lack of
stages for artists to
perform.
